Visionary or Heretic

Before judging my spirituality and chosen beliefs, consider these teachings of the world’s eight main religions, listed below.

For many believers, religion plays an essential role in influencing all aspects of daily life. You can find different religions around the world, although the largest religions in the world generally belong to one of the two main subgroups: Abrahamic Religions and Indian Religions.

Abrahamic Religions

Christianity
Islam
Judaism
Baha’i

Indian Religions

Hinduism
Buddhism
Sikhism
Jainism

CHRISTIANITY

The Bible has nothing to say against pedophilia. It does have some passages that seem to approve of it, however. For example: It’s OK to have sex with “women children” that are obtained in war.

Deuteronomy 20:10-14
When thou comest nigh unto a city to fight against it … And when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword: But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself.

ISLAM

The Ayatollah Khomeini, who married a 12 year old girl, even gave consent to using infants for sexual pleasure. He did provide a warning against full penetration until the baby is a few years old.

Why not as Muhammad’s sexual antics were an embarrassment. This is particularly so with their prophet’s consummation of his marriage to Aisha when she was only nine years of age. The thought of a 53 year old man sleeping and bathing with a young girl is intensely unpleasant and it reflects the disgusting character of a sexual glutton rather than a holy man. Critics even allege that Muhammad was a pedophile.

Hadith, Sahih Bukhara 7:62:64
“Narrated ‘Aisha: that the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e., till his death).”

JUDAISM

The Pharisees justified child rape by explaining that a boy of nine years was not a “man” Thus they exempted him from God’s Mosaic Law:

Leviticus 18:22
“You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.”

One passage in the Talmud gives permission for a woman who molested her young son to marry a high priest. It concludes, “All agree that the connection of a boy aged nine years and a day is a real connection; whilst that of one less than eight years is not.” Because a boy under 9 is sexually immature, he can’t “throw guilt” on the active offender, morally or legally. A woman could molest a young boy without questions of morality even being raised: “…the intercourse of a small boy is not regarded as a sexual act.” The Talmud also says, “A male aged nine years and a day who cohabits with his deceased brother’s wife acquires her (as wife).” Clearly, the Talmud teaches that a woman is permitted to marry and have sex with a nine year old boy.

If this is not enough to disgust you, consider this tidbit.

In contrast to Simeon ben Yohai’s dictum that sex with a little girl is permitted under the age of three years, the general teaching of the Talmud is that the rabbi must wait until a day after her third birthday. She could be taken in marriage simply by the act of rape.

BAHA’I

“Baha’i law limits permissible sexual relations to those between a man and a woman in marriage. Believers are expected to abstain from sex outside matrimony. Baha’is do not, however, attempt to impose their moral standards on those who have not accepted the Revelation of Baha’u’llah. To regard homosexuals with prejudice would be contrary to the spirit of the Baha’i teachings.”

It is absolutely forbidden for Baha’is to discriminate against someone because he or she is gay. However, like any organization, the Baha’i Faith has rules and standards of conduct that may be more stringent than popular opinion. To that extent, Baha’i law does not condone sexual relations outside of marriage. That includes pre- or extra-marital heterosexual sex as well as homosexual sex. We don’t distinguish between the two as being more or less “bad”, they are simply impermissible. Gay people are welcomed to join the faith and many have but, as with any organization which is voluntarily joined, are expected to adhere to the rules.

If you simply accepted everything, you’d have to accept things like pedophilia. Very few of us want that! The Baha’i faith officially considers homosexuality to be wrong, although aprt of it is they consider marriage to be between a man and woman and therefore homosexuality is adultery, which they also consider to be wrong.

HINDUISM

The custom of child marriage, enforced by the Brahmins, destroyed the very life-soul of the non-Brahmins. Child marriage of daughters as young 5 years old was common during the Brahmanic Dark Ages due to the custom of dowry. Law books prescribe that the best partner for a man in one-third his age. Thus a man 18 year old should marry a girl 6 years old! This is the wonderful wisdom of the most authoritative Hindu law-book –

Manu.IX.94 :
” A man, aged thirty years, shall marry a maiden of twelve
who pleases him, or a man of twenty-four a girl of eight years of age; if (the performance of) his duties would otherwise be impeded, he must marry sooner.”

The custom of child-marriage and child-molesting has divine sanction in
Hinduism. The great god Rama was 16 years old when he married Sita, and
Sita was, as per the Manuid laws, one-third of his age, namely 5 years old. It is inconceivable to imagine that great Rama could have dated to violate the Vedic laws of Manu. Besides being a child-molester, holy Rama was also guilty of incest, for Sita is referred to in the oldest surviving Ramayanas as his own sister.

BUDDHISM

On September 15, 2020, the world was surprised when the Dalai Lama, the highest leader of Buddhism in Tibet, publicly acknowledged he was aware of abuses of all kinds, especially sexual, by some leaders of that religion.

“I already knew those things, nothing new,” the religious leader said with some serenity. The statements, were allegedly given during a meeting with four of the Buddhist students who practice in the Netherlands.

Tibetan Lamas consider themselves and their Vajrayana teachings, that recommend pedophilia by the way, “above Western Law” ; so says Lama Dzongsar Rinpoche.

SIKHISM

It is accepted from both oral traditions of the Sikhs and the Hukamnamas of the Sikh Gurus that they did not accept the harmful social customs of society and they did discourage child marriage involving consummation of marriage with children.

In India however, child marriage did not consist of old men marrying minors and instead consisted of two young children getting married which is still prevalent in certain parts of India such as Rajasthan. In addition the marriage of two children did not involve consummation of the marriage until several years later.

Essentially, discouragement of child marriage instead of prohibiting child marriage is acceptable. Shari’ah claims that the consummation of marriage can only take place when the woman is physically mature enough not to be harmed. This physical maturity is known through the following characteristics: When pubic hair grows around the private parts, When vaginal lubrication begins to be emitted., When she starts to menstruate.

In case you are wondering, John Hopkins Medical Center claims puberty starts at about 8 years old, in females.

JAINISM

Jainism is a religion of extreme legalism, for one attains his own salvation only through the path of asceticism or rigid self-denial. There is no freedom in this religion, only rules, primarily the Five Great Vows, which mandate the renunciation of (1) killing living things, (2) lying, (3) greed, (4) sexual pleasure and (5) worldly attachments. Women are to be avoided entirely because they are thought to be the cause of all kinds of evil.
Although many women follow Janisim, they are not equal to men, as the biological functions of their bodies, violate the first main mandate.

In fairness, of all the major religions, this is the only one which resulted with no noted discovery of underaged sex.

CONCLUSION:

If my personal moral compass prohibits the aforementioned practice, I am morally superior to the teachings of the eight most popular religions throughout the world.
This is why I am a pathfinder and not a follower of any organized religion.
