The story line was based upon the movie, the screen play and the book – it’s one of my favorites – but I wanted to do it first person … so it makes it more personal, however the ‘first person narrative’ also doesn’t allow me to show things that the protagonist isn’t able to see.

True, I enjoyed it — Loved how you delved into the very real aspect of perversion seducing those on the outside looking in — You could still keep with the first person narrative, but split sections where viewpoint changes from the perspective of a different character’s eyes, during the same time frames … I don’t have writer’s speak for what this is called, but I’ve seen many other Authors write this way.

I have done that before myself — but in this instance, because I wanted the story to told in first person, I resisted the temptation to do that — and tried to tell the story through the eyes of the protagonist only.

Hail Frodo — Thanks for the encouragement — the story is taken from a combination of the movie, book and the script — it does say this upfront (as I am not trying to take credit for this wonderful idea) — it’s just do in “first person” from the view of the protagonist and is a lot darker and depraved.
