Holding my beaten and bruised head in her hands, Lilith looked deeply in my eyes and said, “It is important Hoku, to accept the times when somebody has performed at a higher level than you. Since every dog has its day, wait until it is your turn. Learn to maintain patience during the hating period, which reveals one’s opacity.”

Lilith shared with me today that every woman faces challenges in life. Sometimes it may be failure or defeat, and we must accept. Handling the situation and how I react truly matters. However, a spirit can not ascend to a Goddess, without a few defeats.

She showed me that there is an extremely thin line that stands between failure and success, remain graceful in your actions during the defeat. You are responsible to turn negative implications associated with defeat into a cloud of positivity.
