BLACK WITCHCRAFT

“If you hex or curse someone it comes back on you three fold!”, “I come form a long line of witches, it’s in my blood!”, “You have to clear out all the negative energy because it’s bad!”, “You don’t like *insert author with obnoxious, pretentious name that reeks of self importance here*? But they are so good!! THEY KNOW ALL!!”, “You practice BLACK WITCHCRAFT?!?! OMG EVIL!!!”

First of all, not all forms of witchcraft believe this rule. As a matter of fact, some actually will laugh in your face when you bring it up because we believe in the equal exchange of energy, meaning if you have already been wronged you are more than welcomed to seek retaliation.

Second, you can have familial traditions and knowledge passed down to you, but EVERYONE has the same connection to the energy that powers witchcraft. Saying you have more so is basically the equivalent of saying you come from a well known family of actors, therefore you are a well known actor (though you have never acted a day in your life and may have zero talent to speak of). Like everyone else, if you want to be good at it you have to work at it. Don’t come at me with this elitist bull shit.

Third, negative doesn’t necessarily mean bad and positive doesn’t necessarily mean good. They are simply two different forms for energy that are both powerful and useful. Yes, you may need a particular type, but say “bad” or “good”. A lot of what we do is a direct result of our intent and our WORDS. Use them correctly.

Fourth, I don’t have anything against the personal truths that people find for themselves. I am sure these authors are good at what they do. They are not all knowing. They are not beings worthy of worship. Not falling to their feet and eating up the scraps they drop on the floor doesn’t make me wrong.

Fifth, yes. I practice the dark arts. Just as with energy, dark doesn’t mean evil just as light doesn’t mean good. You are just as capable of doing harm with white witchcraft as you are dark, maybe more so considering how society views white witchcraft and assumes it is some sort of pure, nobel virtue. Claiming someone is evil because they practice black witchcraft when you yourself are a practitioner shows an extreme amount of ignorance on your part.

In conclusion, if you find yourself saying any of these ridiculous statements you can take your trend-craft bull shit and fuck all the way off. See if that aura of white light holds up when I smack you upside the head with a cauldron and cackle my “evil” ass off. Die mad about it.

Blessed be, bitches.
