Why I Embrace Evil

I think the essence of what is beautiful in Satanism is accepting your true desires. Not the feel-good treacle  that we  all know is untrue, but our real desires. Accepting our real desires holds power, exactly because they are real. Many of these are unvoiced even inside our own heads, because they are “evil”.

The feeling of power and security after aborting a baby you didn’t want. Or accepting that you like fucking multiple genders. Or admitting to yourself that you don’t want to spend your income saving poor people in some terribly poor country. Or that, fuck it, you want to smoke, even if it isn’t healthy. Coming to  even hear the lovely whispers of evil is a journey for many people.

They have been indoctrinated since birth with direct and indirect beliefs that they are “bad” and cannot even think these things. This does profound damage to them. Accepting “evil” – choosing to align ourself with a delightfully evil entity – helps us  accept *all* of ourselves.

You can be fine  with abortion and still  love kittens. Life is not a cartoon. Perhaps you don’t want to be a parent, yet you love cats. Moreover, you can know you don’t want to do something, but for other reasons do it anyway. The key is wholeness. Find yourself. Realize that what makes you “evil” is in fact what makes you beautiful, for it is part of what makes you *you*.

Now, of course, that doesn’t take away consequences. If you go around murdering people, we will take steps to catch you and probably kill you. Just because you enjoy it doesn’t mean that we should tolerate its negative effects. But most  people are  sane, and do not desire such things – probably because evolution removes such people from species that depend on cooperation.

I haven’t said anything about whether Satan is real, because I don’t know that it matters for this. I think he is (I hope he is). I know Lilith is real, because she recruited me. That is a story for another time. I think Satan is real because I feel the soaring in my heart when I perform rites to him or accept my evil desires, as though he has broken the chains I was manacled with. But I cannot prove it.

Maybe it is just how I end up feeling. Irregardless, may Satan bless us all with the power to achieve our deepest desires in some way. Hail Satan! And all my love to Lilith, my benefactor.
