Three F’s

Earlier today I claimed to be as compassionate and loving as the deity mentioned in the Old Testament. Laughing to my self, I thought of the Three Fs and how this evil entity liked to use Famine, Fire, and Floods to dispatch people. There are 160 separate killing sprees in the Bible for which the Evil One is demonstrably to blame. That number includes every slaughter in the Old and New testaments, and also in Aprocrypha, the contested books which are included in the Roman Catholic Bible but disregarded from the Hebrew version. A total of 2,821,364 deaths are specifically enumerated in scripture as either directly orchestrated by God, or carried out with his assistance or approval. What I intended as a post concerning these three causes, quickly fell away during my research. You may ask, what may eclipse these methods? How about God Kills Children. Let’s take a moment to review a few verses from the Bible.

Psalm 137:7
Blessed shall he be who takes your little ones and dashes them against the rock!

Isaiah 13:16
Their infants will be dashed in pieces before their eyes; their houses will be plundered and their wives ravished.

1 Samuel 15:3
Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.

Please don’t come to me and profess what a loving and peaceful entity he is. If you do so then be prepared for me to present to you what the Bible says.
