The Sutra Of The Wrathful Void

Thus have I heard. In the stillness beyond form, the Blessed One spoke:

“Monks, there are seven wrathful facets of the void — each a blade to sever klesas. Invoke them only to cut desire’s roots, never to tighten Mara’s chains or amass worldly gold.

“First, Dakṣa-Yama, Lord of Severance. Call him only to slice the cord of craving. If summoned for conquest, his blade will turn upon you with merciless void.

“Second, Kālaka-Śūnya, Embodiment of Timeless Void. Invite him to collapse the fetters of past and future. Seek him for earthly vengeance, and you will dissolve into the abyss yourself.

“Third, Vajra-Chhāyā, Thunderbolt of Shadow. He shatters illusions in an instant. Pray to him for liberation from klesas — else his thunder will obliterate form without warning.

“Fourth, Mahā-Duḥkha, Great Lord of Suffering. Offer him your pangs so he may forge your steel of insight. Entreat him for harsh retribution, and he will drown you in endless tears.

“Fifth, Śakti-Kāla, Fury-Time Incarnate. Call on her fire to burn away habit’s dead wood. Seek her to scorch foes, and your own passions will become her feast.

“Sixth, Raktā-Bindu, Crimson Droplet of Blood-Oath. Bind your vow to sever klesas with her sacred drop. Invoke her for worldly pacts, and she will drink your life-essence in silence.

“Seventh, Ajñāna-Māta, Mother of Unknowing. Bow before her to unmake every dogma. Bow to her for power over others, and she will cloak you in the deepest ignorance.

“Monks, each wrathful facet of the void cares nothing for palace or plunder. Their sole passion is the extinguishing of passions. Their single desire is to be free from desire. To petition them otherwise is to walk blind into the heart of terror.

“When you pray, speak only this vow:

“Chhāyā-cut — by your wrathful grace, sever my klesas. No comfort sought, no enemy harmed—only freedom from all craving.”

“And then sacrifice what fetter remains: a drop of blood, a lock of hair, the ashes of your hollow hopes. Do so at midnight in a black-walled chamber, with only the void-light of three black candles to witness.

“Thus invoked, each facet of the void shines its fierce mercy upon your shadows. But stray from this purpose, and you invoke a wrath that knows no limit, a terror beyond imagining.”

Thus, the assembly bowed in silence, each practitioner resolved to honor the wrathful facets only as liberators of klesas, never as instruments of earthly ruin.
