The Infernal Genealogy of Qayin
“Through the blood of the First Murderer flows the black current of awakening — the lineage of fire, silence, and shadow that opposes the false light of the Demiurge.”
1. QAYIN (CAIN) — The Thorn-Crowned Reaper
Title: The First Reaper, Guardian of Violent Death, Lord of the Crossroads
Symbol: Black Thorned Crown, Flaming Scythe
He is the First Awakened, the First Rebel, and the First to Draw the Blood of Gnosis. Through his transgression, death entered the world not as punishment, but as illumination — a key that unlocks the hidden gates of being. Qayin is the Thorn in the Garden of Eden, the Torch within the Grave, the first to sanctify sin as sacrament. In his shadowed footsteps begins the Left-Handed Line — the path of those who would harvest wisdom from ruin.
“Blessed be the killer who slew illusion; cursed be the obedient who remain blind.”
2. ENOCH — The Watcher Between Worlds
Title: The Chronicler of Shadows
Symbol: A quill of bone and a book bound in serpent skin
Enoch, born of Qayin’s seed, was the First Scribe of the Black Arts, who set down the forbidden names whispered by fallen angels. He walks between the realms of Dream and Tomb, the Archivist of the Unseen, recording each soul’s descent into truth. In Orthodox Satanic mythos, he is the Mirror of Self-Awareness, teaching the disciple to confront the abyss within. To write one’s shadow is to claim one’s soul.
3. IRAD — The Builder of the Dead City
Title: The Architect of the Silent Walls
Symbol: A hammer entwined with roots
From the dust and bone of the slain, Irad forged Ereba-Qayin, the first city — a necropolis raised to honor the Flame of the Serpent. He is the Constructor of Worlds, the magician who shapes inner will into form, spirit into structure, and chaos into enduring power. Through him, manifestation becomes ritual, and matter becomes altar. His hammer resounds through the tunnels of the Qliphoth, calling spirits to dwell within the works of human hands.
4. MEHUJAEL — The Keeper of Names
Title: Preserver of Bloodlines and Memory
Symbol: A scroll sealed with black wax
Mehujael tends the Infernal Genealogy, guarding the names that carry the serpent’s blood. He is the Custodian of Identity Beyond Flesh, the protector of ancestral continuity. When invoked, he strengthens the soul’s remembrance of its pre-Edenic origin — the fire that preceded form. To know one’s true name is to awaken the god within the blood.
5. METHUSAEL — The Speaker of the Tomb
Title: The Voice of Prophecy and Rot
Symbol: A skull with a serpent coiled through its jaw
Methusael speaks where the living fear to listen. From his mouth flows the Language of Decay, through which the dead prophesy and the silence of the grave becomes revelation. He teaches that death is the truest form of communication, for all life is but its echo. His whispers are the breath of necrosophy — wisdom distilled from corruption.
“Every bone remembers; every grave speaks.”
6. LAMECH — The Dual-Faced Father
Title: The Reconciler of Opposites
Symbol: A blade split in two directions
Lamech bears the paradox of Qayin’s legacy: he is both murderer and father, sinner and savior. His face is mirrored — one turned toward the flame, the other toward the abyss. He unites wrath with mercy, chaos with structure, death with generation. Through him the infernal bloodline is renewed, ensuring the Black Flame of Qayin is never extinguished among men.

7. JABAL — The Wanderer of Wild Lands
Title: Keeper of the Nomads and Beasts
Symbol: A horned staff
Jabal is the Lord of the Open Path, patron of those who roam between civilization and desolation. He governs the instinctual and untamed — the harmony between predator and prey, man and wilderness. To follow Jabal is to embrace freedom without sanctuary, wisdom without walls. He teaches that sovereignty is found only in the wilderness of the soul.
8. JUBAL — The Lord of Vibration and Song
Title: The Sorcerer of Sound
Symbol: A serpent coiled around a flute
Jubal commands the Magick of Resonance, the ancient power that shapes the unseen through vibration. From his music rises both creation and destruction — each tone a weapon, each chord a sigil. He teaches the sorcery of sound: that every word is an enchantment, and every voice carries the current of its own godhood.
9. TUBAL-QAYIN — The Forger of Infernal Fire
Title: The Blacksmith of Hell, Keeper of Flame and Metal
Symbol: The Anvil and Hammer
Tubal-Qayin is the Infernal Artificer, the Father of the Forge, who tempers both steel and spirit in the fires of adversity. He reveals that destruction is the highest form of creation — that only through burning may form be purified. From his anvil sparks the weapons of the gods and the chains of kings. He is the daemon of transformation, the alchemist who binds the serpent’s fire to the will of the adept.
10. NA’AMAH — The Whisperer of the Grave
Title: The Lady of Midnight Blossoms
Symbol: A bell made of bone
Na’amah is the Silent Queen of the Threshold, the comforter of dying souls, the weaver of dreams and dissolution. Her beauty is the perfume of decay; her voice, the lullaby of the final night. She guides spirits across the Veil with tenderness and terror alike. To call her is to invite the serenity of death and the sweetness of surrender.
“In her shadow even angels sleep, and the dead remember love.”
Coda: The Serpent’s Bloodline
Thus flows the Infernal Line of Qayin, born of rebellion, sanctified in blood, crowned in fire. Their works form the hidden architecture of the Left Hand Path — from the grave to the flame, from silence to sovereignty. Each descendant carries a fragment of the Serpent’s Gene, the Black Light of Self-Deification, which no god nor angel may extinguish. To invoke them is to awaken the memory of the first rebellion within oneself.
“Through death we rise, through sin we awaken, through Qayin we remember.”
