The Dark Lord Moves In Mysterious Ways
“Anonymous asked — I am a witness for Satan now. I used to be a witness for Christ, but now I make every opportunity a chance to positively refute and debunk the Bible. Of course, Jonah was inside a fish for three days. There’s lots of fresh oxygen in the belly of a marine animal.”
This week, a close friend, who is married but sees me on the side, said, “I’m in hell right now!” So I replied, “Let’s pray to Satan then.”
She thought I was joking. She is a neopentacostal tongue speaker. So I started a prayer.
“Dear Dark Lord, please help my friend through this time in hell. For you are the God of this world. We ask it in your wicked name.”
She was stunned. Left angry. But called later and asked if I would pray with her again, as the issue was resolving itself. I did. We did.
“Amen,” she said.
That day, her squatter moved out, and she got her house back. The dude said the house was haunted. She is doubting her faith now and is so curious about my faith.
“Have you seen Him work things like that to advance our lives?”
Oh. She fucked me that night. Who am I to define or understand what is incomparable and incomprehensible, only known to the extent He is willing to reveal Himself? Such is the power and reality when it comes to Divinity. Since He is He can. Be amazed if that is what you see happening. I am.
Why do I say this? Because I don’t see who you define as Satan as the biblical personage given that name because Satan was a fallen angel and thus a creation of the divine so can’t be divine — and, besides, angels, according to the Bible, etc, aren’t endowed as humans are — they are sexless and that, my friend, is a factor we humans find it hard to comprehend because we are created as we are, sensual and sexual beings.
Therefore, for me, the Dark Lord is more than the Satan of scripture and the stories that are shared about him. I am what one would call a pagan — and that isn’t a negative connotation by the way. Yes, this response deals with the theological and not the sensual.
However, despite the sex, the question had to do with those things that suddenly occurred in the life of the woman our sender was with. Was the Dark Lord behind what happened? He is incomparable and incomprehensible, able to do the explainable and unexplainable, the seemingly impossible and the simple action among many individuals according to their needs, etc, simultaneously, so it works out if the circumstances warrant it happening, and even this attempt at explanation is inadequate.
However, one can’t deny the affirmation one feels when they realize that the Old Spectre just may be working in the lives of others and not just our own in wickedly positive ways. Forgive the flaws and the inadequacy of my thought — that’s why I ask one to think about it, because I do.
