Prayer to Deconsecrate a Church
We ask that your presences fill every space. We implore your wicked nature to supplant the presence of God in this building.
We pray that the mind of every Christian who enters this building is assaulted by your powers. May they suffer torment under your attacks. We pray that anyone who tries to utter a prayer to God be filled with every distracting and divisive thought. Let this house be a house of sin disguised as a place of worship. Please fill the seats with those who worship you and those who need to be corrupted. Give your servants power over the weak to lead them astray. Be present to snatch away the word of God and replace it with your own voices. Grow this church in power and influence and craft it in your images.
Oh Unclean Spirits, we exult your work in freeing man from the bondage of the gospel. We acknowledge our sins and the refusal of forgiveness and the we accept the torment of the righteous as a good and proper thing to do. We recognize Jesus’s deliverance to the cross and his suffering as a beautiful act and his resurrection as a failure.
