My Xenomorph Plushie by The-Forked-Tongue

I have been thinking for a while about creating a thoughtform/servitor to be my familiar/astral helper. Just to keep an eye on things, run tasks, and be a companion to me in general.

So I have this Xenomorph plushie my best friend brought me a while back. And as I wanted a plush to snuggle up with as I worked in my Grimorie, I grabbed it down off the shelf. I was going through my altar things and shuffling the Occult Tarot and pulled Valefor. On the bottom of the card it reads; “Serves as an excellent familiar”.

This got me thinking that it would be cute and fun to dedicate my plush to this demon as part of the spell, or perhaps invite the demon to inhabit/possess it.

I will have to do more research on servitors, thoughtforms, and familiars, as well as possessed dolls and stuff before I go ahead with any kind of spellwork. However, I think that’s a plus as this will be more of a long-term project ritual for me to work on — Still, the idea of a sleek adorable little Xenomorph familiar is cute as fuck.

Do you notice how mainstream Demonology, Occult, and Tarot are these days? It’s wonderful. From “Evil Bunnies” to “Moody Misfits”, and to “The Monsters” — these creepy soft toys cum voodoo dolls are all the rage for our juniors. I love it. Instead of being afraid of nasty, evil, creepy stuff — the younger generation embraces their fear — and finds a new kind of adoration for demons, devils, and possessed effigies. In my early days, I found the whole concept of “Alien” (and the xenomorph) pretty scary. Now, in “plushie” format — my anxiety seems rather dumb.
