Ishtar/Astarte by Potions-of-dubious-nature

Has anyone else looked into Asherah or God’s wife? I find her extremely fascinating. She is a newer form of the goddess Ishtar/Astarte. Her connection to Astarte also means she’s connected to Asaroth since Asaroth is Astarte.

I think she presents a very interesting third party to the God vs Lucifer dichotomy. Ive always felt like we are living in one big chess game between the two and I dont like it! In the bible, God tortures his favorite guy, Job, just to show off to Lucifer. Thats fucked up, and looking at the world around me its hard to not see their influence and games.

To me, Asherah represents another opposing force to God, but its more rooted in the world and the people. There the myth of “the witch mother” but what if she was just “the Mother”. The All-Mother. Its like saying fuck men, fuck the stupid game you all play, I’m gunna go learn about poisons and snacks in the woods.
