Guilt Within Christianity
Before anything else, remember this: everything written here is based on my own experiences, personal beliefs, and studies. It is not absolute truth, nor is it meant to tell you what you must believe. One of the core values I have found within Satanism is learning to think for yourself. Question everything, research from multiple sources, and come to your own conclusions.
I want to share my perspective on why some Satanists view God as judgmental or untruthful. I cannot speak for every Satanist, only for myself and the conclusions I have reached through my own experiences and studies.
From my perspective, God judges humanity far more than many people realize. According to Christianity, He created humanity while also establishing standards that He expects us to follow. Yet we are born with emotions, desires, and imperfections that are often condemned as sinful. To me, this creates a contradiction. We are given a human nature and then expected to constantly fight against it.
I agree that we should avoid causing unnecessary harm to others and strive to become better people. However, I do not believe every aspect of human nature should be rejected. Emotions such as anger, sadness, jealousy, or fear are natural. What matters is how we choose to act upon those emotions, not simply the fact that we experience them.
My personal belief is that Christianity often teaches people to suppress parts of themselves rather than understand them. This can leave many believers carrying deep guilt, shame, and fear over feelings that are simply part of being human. If God created us with these qualities, I struggle to understand why we are condemned for possessing them.
For many years, I devoted myself to following God as faithfully as I could. Despite my efforts, I often felt consumed by guilt, shame, fear, and hardship. I watched people who, in my eyes, lived far more selfishly than I did seem to receive the blessings I desperately prayed for, while I felt abandoned and left in darkness.
It was during that darkness that I believe Lord Satan became a guiding light in my life. He challenged me to question, to seek truth, and to open my own eyes rather than accept everything I had been taught without examination. I felt understood rather than condemned. Instead of feeling ashamed for simply being human, I learned to accept my nature while still taking responsibility for my actions.
To me, true wrongdoing is found in the harm we choose to inflict upon others, not in the existence of our emotions or our humanity. My experiences led me to believe that Lord Satan encouraged growth through knowledge, self-awareness, and personal responsibility rather than through fear and guilt.
These are my personal beliefs and experiences. I do not expect everyone to agree with them, and I encourage everyone to study, question, and decide for themselves what they believe to be true.-Evelyn Sterling
Agree with what you are saying about Christianity suppressing people’s inner self. I believe I’ve been bi since before I even knew it was a “thing”. As a preteen I wanted to 69 (yes I didn’t know it was called that then) as the idea of my sucking a “friends” cock while he did mine seemed so natural and fun (alas never occurred). But no one taught me that, I thought of it on my own. No one had explained that doing so was gay/homo sex, I just thought it seemed like a cool thing to do. My own fears of sex being wrong stopped me from having sex with a boy when I really wanted to (was surprised he want to fuck my butt) because I was afraid of being caught. Not that it would hurt (god he was going in bareback and dry so it would have hurt or been unsuccessful penetration) or that I didn’t want to it was fucking being scared of being caught (I really hate now that I missed the opportunity). Anyway the point it society and religion force us to suppress our true selves to conform. It is an example of change and adapt to survive. If I were that 12 year old boy now I’d be encouraging him to fuck me (after apply some lube of some type lol). Anyway I see Evelyn’s point and I feel so bad for all the gay and transgender people, especially younger ones that are trying to figure out the world and way it “hates” them so much.
Guilt = The number 1 reason to ditch xrist.
Agree, guilt and shame are so very wrong. As a parent you should encourage, and not condemn. Find ways to guide and not stifle ideas, thoughts, and initiative. Sex is natural and good. The word should spend more time fucking and less time worrying about making more money, war, and success. Life is simpler and more fun with a cock in you, or you in an accepting hole. Hail Satan
I agree and can relate in so many ways with what you are saying. For 99% of my life, I have denied my desires and who I am because of fear, shame, guilt, and confusion about who I truly am.
I want to share something that I have been pondering on for quite some time now. So, God is supposed to know everything about us, right? I was always told that God knows the exact number of hairs we have, as well as what we will be like during our years on earth. That he knows every thought, every action, every decision, every desire, and fear we will have until our dying breath. That’s what I was taught. With that being said, if it’s true that he does know every tiny detail until our dying breath, then how the hell can he expect us to follow any of his rules? He already knows whether we will or not. He already knows who we will serve, Satan the Dark Lord and my God, or him. Supposedly, he knows this already. And, with already knowing it we still get punished in the christian faith. I mean, it seems kinda fucked up in my opinion. It also seems like a fault that a supposed perfect god had made. Just sayin’.
