From Whence And How Does The Dark Lord Speak To Me

Often we find ourselves confronted by something said that stands out and “fills the bill” in a sacred sort of … better said via a simple yet profound saying or pronouncement which appears like a light bulb or simply grabs our attention because it’s oh so applicable for the moment, etc.

Such is the above which I found on Tumblr and find myself posting here. I love that rather crass phrase “unsubscribe to the shit show,” a truly interesting way to say we need to do what we should to relax and avoid the anxiety and angst that we often confront each day from any number of sources.

I also love “give yourself space” which led me to be thankful for the solitude and serenity I find within my indoor she-shed, my inner sanctum and other spaces where I can escape when I wish. And another: “block the dickheads” — those that you just don’t want to deal with at that moment.

A lot is shared in a few phrases where we take time to “think about it” when we read them. When it comes to me, suddenly I see what I can or need to do right then. I find I am thankful because I see this as one of those “the Dark Lord moves in mysterious ways” — who am I to deny He didn’t and doesn’t?

I’m posting this in My Secret Place so when I tiptoe through this Tumblr it’s there to remind me, to advice me and to instruct me to stop and “make room for the things that make you feel like the magical.”

Wisdom and advice as to what we “need” is often found in the sudden simple phrase shared by another — who makes that happen “behind the scenes”? Think about it. Forgive the flaws in my writing. Ave Obscurum Dominum.
