False Christians

The fact that Jesus implores everyone to do good does not excuse his self-professed followers from their failure to obey him. Christians are to be judged by their own actions, not the words of Jesus, and those actions have, in my evaluation, been overwhelmingly harmful.

Not only does history bear this out with their inquisitions, witch hunts, crusades, and persecutions of free thinkers, homosexuals, and others, but in my own personal experiences, Christians have fully lived up to their bad reputations.

The only good Christians I have met were the ones who didn’t go to church and would be regarded as false Christians by all those who do. I myself was once one of these ‘good Christians’ who believed in freedom of conscience and in treating everyone with basic human dignity until I wised up and realised I was on the wrong team.
