The Antichrist

There has been too much hype made about the theory of an Antichrist being born signaling the end of the world, so much so that the actual understanding of what the Antichrist was considered to be in medieval thought and early Christian thought has been obscured. The Antichrist was identified as the false prophet spoken of in the Book of Revelations.

Commentators believed that this would be a figure who would be a prophet for virtues that would be the opposite of Christ’s and that the worldly, materialistic, indulgent, world would choose to believe that this was the Messiah.

Hollywood had sensationalized the Antichrist out to be a figure with vast powers, there’s no talk about him dying and being reborn because presumably only Christ could fit that bill. However, the theory presented here is a reversal of the Christian concept of being reborn in the “Spirit of Christ”, which so many of the devotees of Christianity claim to be.

Foremost perhaps the Antichrist should be referred to as “him/her” instead. Conceivably the Antichrist will have androgynous characteristics, if not, then possibly even be hermaphroditic, encompassing both male and female genitals and characteristics in a balance. Biune features are found in all “Divine” beings for the most part.

Beyond gender, a guess at the function of the Antichrist can be gotten through consideration of his/her position in the negative side of the Tree of Life where The Antichrist is also Luciferian in a purer form.

Lucifer can be seen as a patron or “Christ of the Demons” but also as a Faustian figure. In this parallel with the Left Hand Path as a Promethean figure, the Antichrist isn’t passive but very active and somewhat aggressive, he/she/it is something that wants to spread Promethean liberation by force.

The kind of knowledge in question, though, when we talk about the knowledge, is suggested by the Promethean story of the Watchers, who gave to man secrets that included not only things like how to use metal and magic but also how to apply makeup, suggesting that self-enjoyment and its accompanying techniques were part of the Promethean mix in this mythological case.

The Lucifer aspect of the Antichrist is also, as we have seen, suggested by the function of Lucifer as the embodiment of the “Nightside the Tree of Life”, which can be imitated in magic and invoked into a person to enable them to interact with Nightside forces more safely and stably.

Just as Christ is a focal point of the Rosicrucian mysteries for the power that assuming that level (Christ consciousness) on the Dayside of consciousness gives about planets and other beings on the mental level (through contact with the Holy Guardian Angel), so the Antichrist gives powers to those who invoke him and let him into their consciousness.

By becoming more Antichrist-like we can advance along the Left Hand Path, invoking him/her/it, and standing at the crossroads between the unmanifest. This Antichrist “force” then fully manifested from the Nightside or Acausal realm is a powerful force indeed.

What proceeds the Antichrist are two stages of the decay and conscious breaking down of form into its constituent components, meaning that a descent in this case means ascent from the simpler to the more complicated forms of consciousness. The transition from breakdown to construction is accomplished through the agency of the energy of the now broken-down forms themselves.

The Choronzonic breakdown of the remaining Dayside (mundane) characteristics liberates the primal energy of the underlying Nightside/acausal substance. This then is taken and self-fertilizes itself on the level of the hermaphroditic Antichrist/Lucifer entity, bringing light and life in a Promethean way down from “Heaven”, even though it’s the substance of the Nightside itself that does the initiating, instigating gnosis.

On the station of the Antichrist, a protoform is formed and nurtured, one that nonetheless is very far from being complete. The muck and protoplasm give way to a limited sphere of structure, a kind of embryonic semi-form. It is also the first glimmering of real intelligence from the decay of form through the dark cosmic consciousness on/in the Nightside (universe “B”) (acausal arealm), etc.

Like you, I believe the Antichrist to be androgynous, twin-sexed, he and she, all in one. This insight is not based on the iconic “Baphomet” that presents the beast as a goat with the breasts of a woman and the erect penis of a man — but through everything else that tells me that the Antichrist embodies both male and female characteristics in an indeterminate way — dependent upon sexual preference of the viewer, that the spirit of the Antichrist will manifest appropriately. For some it may be more male or more female, for others it may be more in between.
