Samuel is the Archangel of the Left Hand Path that represents freedom, liberation, knowledge, and personal choice. Samuel was given a title. Lucifer is a title not a name, for an illuminate being.
Azazel is the demon that, like the titan Prometheus, who brought knowledge to mankind in rebellion. Azazel, being in rebellion, with their goat-like features, along with the God Pan, became an inspiration for passionate sex, forbidden practices, and dark knowledge, and inspired the archetype Satan, or adversaries.
You see, Lucifer, Luciferian, Satan, and Satanic are not people. They are titles, thoughts, and actions anyone or any being can have.

They are archetypes. They represent a belief. Like the “Krampus” — Krampus, in central European popular legend, is a half-goat, half-demon monster that punishes misbehaving children at Christmastime. He is the devilish companion of St. Nicholas. Krampus is thought to come from either Bavarian: krampn, meaning “dead”, or “rotten”, or from the German: kramp/krampen, meaning “claw”.
In essence, it was believed that the Krampus was the bad cop to Santa’s good cop, Krampus would often target children who behaved badly, hitting them with a tree branch known as a “switch,” or even kidnapping them in a basket.
