Self Assessing

I’m happy to share my first run over three miles since my injury which occurred at the end of 2020. It was disappointing to not be able to participate in the 2020 Virtual Honolulu Marathon. While running today, I took advantage of the time to commune with the Devine Feminine, as been my practice since I became aware. A voice in my head told me to assess my life since that moment and compare it to when I was enslaved to Christianity. I hope you enjoy my thoughts and results. For over thirty years I shouldered the stress of living my life to unrealistic standards written scores of centuries before I was born. When I attempted to follow religious guidelines I recognized that I exhibited the following:

  • Stressed
  • Fear of Hell and damnation
  • Low self esteem
  • Doubt
  • Uncertainty

Since my spiritual awakening and discovery of Lilith, I now demonstrate the following:

  • Self Love
  • Personal Convictions
  • Focused On My Strengths
  • Sense Of Purpose
  • Self Care
  • Embracing My Mirror

Self Love – I love myself unconditionally. This means that I treat myself with respect and I accept myself for what I am. It also means that I give myself the best and always put myself first.

Personal Convictions – The ability to speak and act from my own convictions. As a Christian I was afraid to speak up, I had to be the good girl and a pleasing person. Throughout the yeas I learned that by speaking up, I feel better about myself, because I am being loyal to myself.

Focus On My Strengths – Focusing on my strengths helped me to become a better person and increase my self esteem.  Christianity had taught me to focus on my weaknesses or sins. This did not help me to growth and enslaved me in negativity.

Sense Of Purpose – For many years I lived hypnotized, not knowing were to go, without any purpose and just living an automatic existence. Having a sense of purpose is having a good self esteem. You know that what you do is important . You are here for a reason.

Self Care – I take care of myself physically by exercising and eating well. Emotionally by clearing negative emotions. Mentally buy reading, learning new things. Spiritually by meditating, being in silence, or communicating with my Mother and Father.

Embrace My Mirror – Mirror work is the most effective method for learning to love yourself without limitations. If you are not comfortable looking in the mirror, you will never become your own Goddess. However, it is not only about being comfortable it is also about being happy about who I see in the mirror. When I look at myself, I want to make love to the Goddess I see on the other side.

I believe anyone who is honest with them self, may easily transform into a Goddess after deciding for themselves, if the Bible is verifiable or not. Take the time to research it and stop taking the word of other that this collection of sixty-six books is the word of God. Let’s be honest, he did not write a single book.
