There are many reasons to sacrifice your unborn child, which may include so you can have sexual freedom, to save the planet or simply to harness the energy. So why not create a sacred place within your home to celebrate and honor it?

Building an altar for your abortion can be a really cathartic procedure and process. Although not purging the bowels it is purging the womb.

Lilith, The Goddess of Abortions will help you locate a space for your sacred container, which you can return to whenever you want to meditate, whenever you want to think deeply, or contemplate any aspect of your abortion. It’s a really beautiful way to just give reference to the experience and hold the experience in a really sacred way.

THE ALTAR

The altar is first prepared by smudging the area with some sage to just clean the space, and myself. Next, use a nice cloth that you have that is beautiful and means something to you, or a scarf or any other item and just place it on top of the altar.

Take a photo or a symbol of something. I work a lot with Lilith, so I often use a dark image of Mother Mary, as it adds a touch of sacrilegious beauty.

I also like to always have a few candles going on my altar, so there’s always light within the darkness. I always use a black and a red candle. Include some crystals for energy and a tarot card that symbolizes feminine fertility and feminine energy. Of course, including the abortion pills, so they may be dedicated to this sacred ritual.

CONCLUSION

Place the container in which you plan to put the products of conception, or the fetal remains within, to catch that after you’ve passed it, and save it for later. You may keep it or find a way to properly dispose of the fetal remains in a way that gives reverence, respect, and support to the sacred abortion experience.
