Paradox

If one were to enter my residence and study the surroundings and build a psychological and spiritual profile, I wander what they would say.

Books often offer insight, however my copy of, “The Maxwell Leadership Bible,” and Richard Ing’s, “Spiritual Warfare,” and, “Liber Lilith,” and, “The Fundamentals of Security,” lay clumped together. The, “A White Goddess,” by Robert Graves leaning against Zig Ziglar’s, “See You At The Top.” “The Complete Book of Enoc,” next to such great tiles like. “Marathon Training.” “The Koran” by, “A Christmas Carol.” Classics like, “The Art of War” by such titles as, “How Cognitive Interviewing Can Assist,” with, “Disciplinary & Grievance Investigations.”

If the selection of books is maddening, I assume my decor is even worst. A farmer’s window from the eighteen hundreds hangs on a wall directly across from a Japanese four panel screen of watercolors symbolizing the four seasons done in black and white. Vietnamese silk lanterns hang next to an Indonesian wind chime, adorn with glass beads and bells to announce and spiritual visitors. Thai head dress on a wall above the, “Kabbalah Tree Of Life,” complete with a reclining Buddha.

The others — wealthy Buddha, Thai meditating women, golden goddesses, Asian elephants with uplifted trunks for luck, and yes even a few crosses here and there. “The Jade Serpent,” the, “Silver Owl,” and the dozens of crystals by the, “Reclining Buddha,” add to the chaos of, “Dragons Blood Sage,” and the, “Nativity Set.”

I share this peek, as all these things contributed to my identity and path through this realm. Is it Chaos or is my entire residence simply an Altar that I reside in?

It makes as much logical sense as a trip to the, “Cathedral Basilica Of Our Lady of Peace,” — also known by its original French name, “Cathédrale de Notre Dame de la Paix,” its Portuguese variant “Catedral de Nossa Senhora da Paz,” and its Hawaiian derivative, “Malia o ka Malu Hale Pule Nui,” — is the mother church of the, “Diocese of Honolulu,” and houses the, “Cathedra Of The Bishop Of Honolulu” in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, and finding the confessional locked, no Holy Water and all the Bibles removed from the backs of the pews, as I discovered today.
