No Follow-Through

Here’s a message I received about a week ago. I never approved it, but I wanted to email the writer to follow up on his comments. He identified himself as a Protestant Christian. The message was in response to “Fuck Censorship by Nina Crowne – Non-Fiction” —

“Christian persecution is getting more and more prominent but no one will admit it. Truth is you need Jesus for real. Otherwise, you wouldn’t feel the need to do this weird shit and viewers wouldn’t feel the need to watch it. Sin and evil are real. You’re in deep … I’m praying for you. That’s selfless and BTW we don’t force anyone into conversion therapy or whatever. Maybe you’re thinking of the weird Catholics.”

Now here’s my reply … via his stated email —

“Dearest Christian, Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to post on Littlesally666.com  — I’m really curious about why you would be reading about Nine Crowne on a Satanic website. What’s the motivation? I do get a lot of Christians and former Christians who all seem to get off on blasphemy and religious porn. Is that the angle?  Just to square things up, I’m not a Satanist. It’s incredulous really. God and the Devil — but it does make great fiction — the old, good guy, bad guy routine. Thanks again. XP.

And it’s not the first time

Yes, this is not the first time I get comments (which I don’t usually post), but I write back to their originator (like the one above), and always find the same thing — they have deleted their email address — what is that? What is the point of making a stand, leaving a comment, and then having no follow-through? If you’re going to comment, then don’t chicken out.

  1. Glory be unto you Lord Satan! Thank you for revealing yourself to me your servant! Praise be unto thee!

  2. Perhaps this person felt that their opinion was the one and only opinion that mattered , and did not want to hear your reply as they do not want a debate , it’s just THEIR opinion that counts . This happens a hell of a lot on social media where someone feels they have the only opinion that matters , and will not tolerate any opinion that opposes their own so righteous point of view .
