You made a connection with a person. But then they change their mind because they thought about their current lover. You did nothing wrong. You did everything right. You made this person think. You made him analyze why he was searching for another guy in the 1st place. You pointed out to him that his lover is not fulfilling a need.

You asked him to tell his lover this. He probably won’t but you confronted that if his lover is not fulfilling this man’s needs, he will look for it elsewhere. No doubt his lover is the alpha male and controls their relationship. Your friend is blindingly walking back into his normalcy.

But that has nothing to do with you. You told him what he needed to hear. It’s up to him to take the next step in his relationship, whatever that may be. The other thing you fulfilled for this man was you made him feel attractive and he does appreciate that. He probably has not felt that with his lover.
