Jesus Called A Woman A Dog

The writings in the bible, never seem to demonstrate love and peace. They actually piss me off to no end.

In Matthew 15, verses 24 through 26, Jesus said, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” But she came and knelt before him, saying, “Lord, help me.” And he answered, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs. This criminal was speaking to a Canaanite woman and demonstrates how much hatred the Abrahamic religions have towards women. Dogs were not the loved family pet they are today. They were dirty, disease ridden scavengers that you kept away from you.

Many religious scholars attempt to provide the author some cover by claiming Jesus was testing his disciples to see how they would respond. The woman doesn’t seem in the least bit fazed by Jesus’ comment. Perhaps we need to understand the Canaanites in order to recognize the criminal Jesus’s hatred. The Canaanites, as a whole culture, enjoyed idolatry, Holy Temple prostitution, adultery, homosexuality, incest, murder, bestiality, gang rape, and child sacrifice.

Though other cultures also participated in some of these practices, it was the widespread involvement and acceptance of these pleasures that made Jesus and his father persecute them. In Canaanite culture these demonstrations of devotion were universally practiced and accepted because this is what their goddesses and gods demanded. Not only did they declare these acts as righteous morality, but they also participated in these acts in the worship as a means of gaining the Lilith’s approval.
