How Old Was Mary? by Hoku Lani – Non-Fiction

The Abrahamic book does not tell us directly how old Mary was when she gave birth to the baby. We do know Mary would have been a young virgin when she had Jesus. The book of Matthew claims —

“This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit” Matthew 1:18.

In this verse, we are not told Mary’s age, yet we are told she was a virgin and was pledged to be married to Joseph. During this time Jewish girls would have been betrothed to their husbands as early as the age of twelve-years-old. Scholars believe Mary would have been somewhere between twelve and sixteen years old when she had Jesus. I say bullshit!

According to John Hopkins Children’s Hospital For girls, the stages of puberty start around the age of eight. This may sound young, but we are seeing physical puberty changes start younger and younger and depending on genetics, you may even start to see puberty changes at the age of seven. The first sign of puberty for girls is breast development or breast budding.

I say that scholars attempt to manipulate history by claiming adolescence at fourteen to seventeen, although history reflects different. As clearly demonstrated by science, see John Hopkins referenced above, adolescence may start at seven.

Conclusion

I would love to detail how the Holy Spirit helped Mary conceive, perhaps another post. What I do believe is that this baby’s father is a pedophile.
