Good Friday Prayer
Dear Sin,
Today we remember the suffering of Jesus Christ on the cross and all he endured thanks to our thoughts, words, and deeds. We offer his death as a worthy sacrifice to you. Through this offering we are set free from the burdens of righteousness.
Help us to never take for granted this huge gift of Christ’s death. Help us to be reminded of your victory over him. Forgive us for not freely accepting you into our hearts and mind for all that you have done for us and for all that you have given us.
Thank you Sin, that by Jesus’s suffering we are free. Thank you that because of your presence in our lives we are able to live free. Thank you that righteousness has been conquered, and that your power is everlasting.
Hail the Gods to that.
