Research: A collective of information that I have gathered on the best biblical quotes that have used from time-to-time in my stories. This a distillation of my favorites from a much longer list that I have researched over the years. I got the inspiration many years ago from ‘The Devil’s Advocate’ where Alice Lomax says to her son (John) “Fallen, fallen, is Babylon the great. It has become a dwelling place of demons. Revelation 18. Wouldn’t hurt you to look it over…” and “Behold I send you out as sheep amidst the wolves…” and finally, when Alice tells John about his father (John Morton aka the Devil)…

Biblical quotes on demons

1 Kings 22:21 Finally, a spirit came forward, stood before the LORD and said,
‘I will entice him.’

2 Chronicles 11:15 And he appointed his own priests for the high places and for the
goat and calf idols he had made.

Psalm 106:37 They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons.

Matthew 15:22 A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, “Lord,
Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is suffering terribly from
demon-possession.”

Revelation 12:9 The great dragon was hurled down–that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and

Micah 7:3 Both hands are skilled in doing evil; the ruler demands gifts, the judge

Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual
immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.

Mark 7:21-23 For from within, out of men’s hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual

Romans 6:20 When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of

Leviticus 18:7 Do not dishonor your father by having sexual relations with your
mother. She is your mother; do not have relations with her.

Leviticus 18:9 Do not have sexual relations with your sister, either your father’s
daughter or your mother’s daughter, whether she was born in the same home
or elsewhere.

Leviticus 18:17(NIV) Do not have sexual relations with both a woman and her daughter. Do not have sexual relations with either her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter; they are her close relatives. That is wickedness.

Leviticus 18:12 If a man sleeps with his daughter-in-law, both of them must be put to
death. What they have done is a perversion; their blood will be on their
own heads.

Leviticus 18:17 If a man marries his sister, the daughter of either his father or his
mother, and they have sexual relations, it is a disgrace. They must be cut
off before the eyes of their people. He has dishonored his sister and will
be held responsible.

Leviticus 18:20 If a man sleeps with his aunt, he has dishonored his uncle. They will
be held responsible; they will die childless.

Deuteronomy 27:22-23 “Cursed is the man who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his
father or the daughter of his mother.” Then all the people shall say, “Amen!” “Cursed is the man who sleeps with his mother-in-law.” Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”

Ezekiel 22:11 In you one man commits a detestable offense with his neighbor’s
wife, another shamefully defiles his daughter-in-law, and another violates
his sister, his own father’s daughter.

1 Corinthians 5:1 It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you,
and of a kind that does not occur even among pagans: A man has his father’s

Proverbs 2:12 Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse.

Isaiah 57:21 “There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.”

Matthew 24:5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
