Anima Satanae

When the Satanist begins his journey in search of knowing himself and the world, he starts to walk the path more with emotion and feeling than with conscience. Human beings are a mixture of feelings, emotions, perceptions, and thoughts, and the union of these elements results in the way of being and acting of each individual. In this way, the intellect is the one controlling the feeling. When our intellect is distorted by the illusions of the creator and creation, we end up acquiring feelings that imprison us in a world of attachments and servitude.

The first tunnel to enter for the intellect to be developed and to build feelings that will lead us to Ain is the tunnel of Amprodias. This intellect is found in Daath, the wisdom of the abyss, the key to breaking out of this prison. The eleventh path, or the first tunnel, is represented by the letter Alef, which is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet. Alef has the numerical value one and represents the first idea, the initial stage, and the origin of things.

The misconfigured letter Alef is the union of two “Yod” and the “Vav” and has a value of twenty-six. Within the tree of life, Alef refers to the creator of the universe, twenty-six is the value of the tetragrammaton (YHWH), while in the tree of death, Alef represents the value of HWHY, which is the name of the Devil. In this way, Alef, on the tree of death, represents the first stage, the beginning, and the seed where the Qliphoth have their roots wrapped to dissolve the structures of the world.

The eleventh path, or the first tunnel, is the path of Alef, and it is the tunnel where the Satanist will come across the demon Amprodias. This tunnel represents the satanic essence before being understood by our mind, it is the path that, when the satanist feels his essence, feeling an exile in this world, begins his journey in search of being able to rationalize it. This is the starting point, the first stage, where the Devil’s seed will begin to germinate.

This satanic essence is the same as the all-containing void of chaos.

It emanates from the Qlipha Thaumiel and is connected to our emotions, which are the impulses that induce us to act. Emotions arise from the perceptions that each individual has about the world before he even reflects and thinks about it. From the moment that the Satanist has a perception that this world and the creator are negative, he will begin to walk through the infernal tunnels guided by the emotions and feelings generated from this perception.

The Amprodias tunnel is the first path among the twenty-two tunnels, which represent the field of manifestation of the divine attributes personified by the Qliphoth in the tree of death; this is where the Satanist will start the journey speculating on the knowledge that is still inaccessible to his consciousness, seeking to know the unknown to increase his consciousness until he reaches the superconscious.

Amprodias is represented by the number zero, the number that represents the emptiness that precedes the manifestation, related to “non-existence,” the “emptiness that contains everything.” It is also represented by the number eleven, which has the same meaning, because it is the number that represents the void that is beyond creation, beyond the ten sephiroth. The descent of this path which is from Thaumiel (Satan, Moloch) to Ghagiel (Belzebuth), represents the descent of the Devil’s power to our plane and the beginning of the Satanist’s journey; it is the Diabolic energy that will be manifested in the universe (Malkuth).

On this path, the Satanist is between the source of the chaotic energy that is spilled by every tree of death (Thaumiel) and the great stimulator of chaos (Ghagiel), which is the wisdom that wells up within us, a path of chaotic inspirations. This tunnel is connected to the air element, which is a dispersing element and here it represents the breath of death, which is the opposite of the so-called “breath of life” described in Genesis.

Amprodias leads the Satanist to develop a knowledge that transcends the empire of matter, so in the eyes of the blind, the Satanist is considered “crazy,” because those who feel exiled in this world and do not think and act according to the standards of society and possess high wisdom, are often considered insane. The Satanist realizes that this world is an illusion that masks a transcendent reality and in this tunnel, the illusions begin to be undone by the power of Black Light emanating from Thaumiel.
