What Is Luciferianism?
Luciferianism is a spiritual or philosophical tradition centered around Lucifer, who is often associated with enlightenment, knowledge, wisdom, independence, and the pursuit of personal growth.
There is no single universal form of Luciferianism. Different Luciferians may understand Lucifer as a literal spiritual being, a deity, an archetype, or a symbol representing the pursuit of knowledge and illumination.
Many Luciferian traditions emphasize questioning, learning, self-discovery, critical thinking, and personal responsibility. Rather than accepting beliefs simply because they are traditionally taught, Luciferians may encourage individuals to seek knowledge for themselves and develop their own understanding of spirituality.
Some forms of Luciferianism overlap with occult or esoteric traditions, while others are primarily philosophical. Practices and beliefs can therefore vary considerably from one Luciferian to another.
It is also important to distinguish Luciferianism from Satanism. Although the two can overlap and some practitioners identify with both, they are not automatically the same tradition. Luciferianism places particular emphasis on Lucifer and the ideas of illumination, knowledge, and personal development.
In short: Luciferianism is a diverse spiritual or philosophical path centered around Lucifer and the pursuit of knowledge, enlightenment, independence, and personal transformation.
