Medieval Iconography

The Baphomet Symbol is further composed by the stylized figure of a goat’s head that fits perfectly into the design since its horns are the two upper ends of the pentagram, its ears the two lateral ends and its muzzle the lower single tip.

This presence in the symbol reinforces the earthly identity of the Satanist as a being linked to his animal aspect. The goat is still the embodiment of desire, fertility and vitality; an obvious reference to the devil’s own figure.

Medieval iconography made this beast the lord of witches, from whom they supposedly learned their secrets and to whom they lustfully surrendered. It was the goat that took them to the Sabbath site, and their master, who went by the name of Leonardo, also had the head. of the animal, making this image even today, especially suited for a satanic ritual.
