I don’t mind at all.
No, selling your soul is not actually a thing for theistic Satanists. But admittedly, I can’t speak for all of us, because if you find two theistic Satanists that believe the same things, you have a cloning problem on your hands. We don’t really have a solid established theology.
It’s been a topic of some discussion within the groups I’m in though. We somewhat regularly have to tell the new folks that no, you can’t make a single ritual or pact and get a million dollars or be the best guitar player in the world or pass all your exams without studying.
Satan is more than happy to help his people out with those things and give a little extra boost of confidence and power, but he’s not taking anything from us in exchange (except like, time and energy directed towards prayer or rituals or maybe if we’re giving offerings) and we still have to actually do the hard work of achieving those goals ourselves.
Also, having a soul to sell in the first place is a very Christian idea. Theistic Satanists are not all entirely sold on the idea that we’ve got souls in the first place, nor that there’s an afterlife to be concerned about.
It would be neat if there was a cheat code for getting something easy in life via religion though. But believe me, if there was a way to get Satan to help me finish my PhD faster or not be so stinking poor, I would have taken it by now.
