THE PARCHMENT SCROLLS OF GESTATION

The Parchment Scrolls Of Gestation are utilized in many workings of The Black Grimoire — workings such as demonic evocations and invocations, ritual operations to create golems, hexes and demonic conjurations among others. They are formed from strips of parchment paper and contain the names of demons — and at times other wording — translated into magickal text and then rolled into a scroll and bound with wax, ribbon or cord.

They contain the energy and power placed within them by the verbal issuing of evocations, hexes, benedictions, etc — which are spoken forth within the rites the scrolls are being used within. When used in hexes or benediction the scroll forwarded to someone remains obscure and once the intended victim has touched the scroll the curse or enchantment is upon them and remains until removed by the acolyte who placed it upon them.

From magickal undertakings to journey into past lives I have found that the use of such scrolls were used during the 1500s, 1600s, and 1700s — particularly by the practitioners of old world witchcraft and classical Satanism — through these journeys I also found that such scrolls were at times laced with certain poisons although I have not discerned whether this was to cause harm or for the attraction of magickal correspondences.

In the system of The Black Grimoire the scrolls are mostly employed for the transference of the power of the demon’s name through the magickal working to cause the manifestation of the infernal objectives in the physical world. Where incantations and hexes are incorporated into these scrolls the intention is often direct transference of demonic power to a person or place. The preliminary notes at the beginning of each text including magickal and infernal operations shall deliver more clearly the use of the scroll in that practice if they are to be utilized.
