I wrote this piece to create balance. A lot of people know God’s side of the story. I thought I should play Devil’s Advocate for a minute. So why Satan? Why not? The Bible says Satan was the most intelligent angel of God. God’s right hand is “Man”. The Morning Star. The Light Bearer. Lucifer. How does someone like that fall from grace?

Your pastor is not half as intelligent. But he believes in God. You are not half as intelligent but you believe in God. So how does Lucifer? The wisest angel fails to do something that even the most pathetic human beings can do.

One word. Understanding. Satan understands god. You don’t. Your belief comes from your weakness. You need to submit to a master. Your sickness and death. Satan doesn’t get sick. Satan is not facing death anytime soon. Satan was not created to serve a master. Satan was an artist. The Bible calls him the most beautiful singer.

Satan was a narcissist. The Bible calls him the most beautiful angel. Satan was a revolutionary. He turned more than half of God’s angels against God (the government in heaven) now how does someone that intelligent go against God? When you who don’t even know the day you will die are on your knees every Sunday?

The Bible says Satan is the Light Bearer. That means someone who brings light. Ironic considering that Satan is supposed to be this dark hateful idiot running around killing people. No. Satan is the bringer of knowledge. Light in this context is knowledge.

When Satan told Eve that if she ate the apple she’ll become like God. He wasn’t lying. That’s why they call it the apple of knowledge. Knowledge of right and wrong. Knowledge of self. God is god because he knows. The reason why Satan is an enemy in the Bible is because Satan gives people knowledge.

God doesn’t like that because it is better to rule people who don’t even know that they are naked. That’s why Jesus calls his followers sheep. Sheep are the dumbest animals in creation. The minute Adam and Eve woke up. God became angry and cursed them to die. Cursed them to suffer. Because god rules by being the only one who knows. Just like the government.

The minute you share those secrets with the people. The minute you try to wake people up. You become public enemy number one because now people will turn against the government. Just like the war in heaven when more than half of the angels turned against God and God’s strongest Angel Gabriel defended the throne.

Gabriel is a metaphor for the army. The CIA. The KGB. MI6. NSA. Gabriel is the government’s weapon against democracy. Satan questioned God’s rule. Just like Malcolm X questioned white supremacy. The next thing he was demonized and is still being demonized to this day. When you go against the system. You become demonized. That’s why dumb people think Satan is a demon.
