The Pueo

Also known as the Hawaiian short-eared owl, is an endemic subspecies of the nearly pandemic short-eared owl. Today after completing work and maintaining my body by performing my ritualistic routine, I left my residence to perform my interval runs and hill workout. During the run I reached a spot where I often stop to communicate to Lilith, and what do I discover? You guessed it a sign from Lilith, a Pueo greeted me and then flew down the narrow valley in bright sunlight.

Now I have been fervently researching Lilith’s true origins, the pre-Abrahamic truths, as I am sick and tired of hearing the bullshit that she was Adam’s wife. That is simply religious bull crap. Her history goes back almost seven thousand years, long before today’s Judaism and Christian cults. I will share in an additional post, however I wanted to share my joy of being greeted by what I recognized as Lilith herself.

In Hebrew-language texts, the term Lilith or Lilit (translated as “night creatures”, “night monster”, “night hag”, or “screech owl”) first occurs in a list of animals in Isaiah 34 — This passage describes how the territory of the enemies of Judea will be utterly destroyed by God and made empty.

The “night creatures” mentioned include Lilith, a demon of the night, linked with magic. Although her origins can be traced back at least until the Sumerian culture, we also see a lot of her in Jewish legends — as, amongst other things, the first wife of Adam, and Lilith is closely linked to the owl.
