Asherah Pole

Before there ever was the fictitious Abrahamic gawd, long before actually, Lilith was worshiped by the masses, under many names. One of these was Asherah/Astarte.

An Asherah pole was a sacred tree or pole that stood near religious locations to honor Lilith as the Goddess Asherah, also known as Astarte. While the exact appearance of an Asherah pole is somewhat obscure, I’m confident that the best ones were phallus-shaped. According to a passage in the black Book of Lies, the ancient Israelites, after entering the land of Canaan, were influenced by a superior religion.

Many scholars and the Abrahamic religions attempt to demean or discredit Lilith, by claiming she was the wife of Yahweh or that she somehow was a part of their corruption. Let’s look at archeological science for the truth. It is here I want to point out that the founder of these sick religions appeared around 500 BCE.

Lilith is often connected to toe the area around the Red Sea. It is on the slope of a barren mountain overlooking the Red Sea resort city of Eilat, a prehistoric community erected a cemetery and a place of worship, starting at least 7,500 years ago, or 5000 BCE, and continued for over thousands of years. Amid the graves, among masseboth, archaeologists found the stump of a juniper tree.

These scholars claim, nothing other than the earliest phallus-shaped Asherah Pole ever found, the predecessor of a Divinely inspired sex cult that would come to be embraced by the Canaanites and abhorred by the Abrahamic. The excavators also found beads from afar, made of exotic materials including the earliest-ever examples of faience and steatite found in the Levant.

Asherah Roots

East of two of the graves, two installations were found. One was built into the ground and, was paved with small flagstones. It was on this pavement that the archaeologists identified the remains of a juniper tree trunk.

The wooden relic is about a foot tall and was found still standing upright. The trunk had probably been brought to the site from the Edomite mountains, in today’s Jordan.

The presence of the juniper, brought from afar to be placed on the pavement inside a burial and cultic site, leaves little doubt that it was a sacred wood.

Later in biblical texts, “Ashera”, often symbolized by a tree, was the goddess representing fertility, endowing life, and prosperity to her followers. Sometimes falsely, she is also referred to as the wife of “El” and her followers were mentioned several times in the Old Testament — the Book of Lies also disapprovingly references Asherim, objects relating to Canaanite worship.

In the Mishna, redacted in the early 3rd century CE, she is represented as a living tree, tree stump, or wooden sculpture.

Before the discovery of the juniper tree trunk in Eilat, only three sacred trees potentially identified as Asheras were found in the Near East, although from much later and two of them are still hotly debated: in the early Bronze Age sanctuary in Beycesultan, Turkey; in the Bronze Age sanctuary in Qatna, Syria and the Iron Age sanctuary in Lachish.

The Ashera in Eilat was dated by radiocarbon analysis to 4540 BCE and It is the oldest “Ashera” found anywhere. Reminder the biblical stories are from around 500 BCE.

There is one other extreme oddity about this cemetery which as said was created on a rocky, barren slope with a view of the Red Sea.

Unlike other prehistoric cemeteries in general, it seems to be an independent institution, separated from settlement. It is also among the earliest to integrate masseboth within the burials. If the interpretations are correct, then the dead were laid to rest with symbols of female fertility and rebirth, as indicated by the broad standing stones, the orientation of the graves and elements within, and the Asherah.

Asherah was worshiped in many ways, however ritual sex was and remains my favorite. Many of her followers would practice Sex Magick, although she was believed to be Baal’s Mother, she often indulged in incestuous sex with him. To appease Lilith they would imitate The Divine Mother having sex with her son. This was believed to motivate even more sex between them. Even Sacred Prostitution was born from Her.

CONCLUSION

Once again, I ask why believe or follow a false Abrahamic religion, founded in 500 BCE, when the true religion thrived thousands of years earlier. Sacred Prostitution and Phallus Poles; or criminal crucifixion and begging for salvation.
