The use of such techniques can be traced back to the roots of animism and the donning of animal skins to succeed in hunting that animal or take on the attributes of the animal itself. We can still see it today in the use of advertisements, social media, art and cinematic workings, all such industries and creative offerings utilize the power of imagery and symbolism to induce the required reaction from the human mind.

When one considers the power of these two strands of magickal energy they both work through the same principle — that of influencing the subconscious mind through either the power of word or the power of image. When these techniques are merged with the power of magickal currents and — in the case of satanic witchcraft — the energies of the demonic entities of hell they become tools which can effect not just the subconscious mind of the human but the hidden layers of multiple realms and so the planet we live upon as well.
