Magick

I feel called by a desire from within me to share with any readers, about Magick and my thoughts, as shared with me from Mother and Father. I will not give it a title or a label, other than calling it Hoku Magick. Hoku Magick is all about choosing and picking from other traditions to create a unique practice. As I draw from other cultures and traditions as while as self discovered and developed rituals, I practice Hoku Magick.

It is easy to find things you like or dislike about certain practices to create one of your own. As an example, I created Witch Runes, after accessing the ethereal realm. I also work with the Sea, as a sort of guiding spirit. I made the runes on small pieces of flat circular coral and use those runes and their elemental representation, ocean’s energy to provide guidance. It really is as simple as taking a little from there and somewhere else and combining it into something useful.

BELIEF AND DESIRED RESULTS

I use Hoku Magick, as a tool to get what I want. I do so by placing importance on items that would otherwise have no importance at all. To help you understand, look around your room and find an object. It can be anything at all, like just now my eyes came to rest on a ceramic coaster with a flower-like design. The hidden knowledge is that if you place as much importance on that coaster as something like the use of toilet paper, in as much as you confidently use it without worrying your finger will break through it. When you do that, you are using your belief as a tool in your Magick. You could say that piece of sea shell or glass is now your lucky charm. You could put it in your purse. Then go do something. Once you are successful, you have practiced Hoku Magick. Keep in mind, that the aforementioned example is very basic, to help those with out experience understand.

GNOSIS

Gnosis is the state of being one must inhabit to properly imbue items, like that piece of sea glass, with belief. Gnosis literally means “knowledge of the spirit”. In Hoku Magick it is an altered state where I focus on a single point, where I imbue something with meaning. I am literally pushing my belief into something physical. I also use Gnosis when I work or create a sigil. When I create a sigil, I imbue it with belief. Then you go through the process of forgetting about it or energizing it. It can take some time to master the Gnostic State, but once you get there it is easy to tap into moving forward. I guess in that way it may be kinda like meditation.

RESULTS BASED

Hoku Magick is performed with a goal in mind. I believe most Magick is performed in such a way, especially rituals, but Hoku Magick even more so. My goal is the directive of creating a sigil and embedding belief into an object. Some may mock or make fun at the notion of my beliefs and using Hoku Magick for a specific result rather than making Magick a lifestyle. I don’t care, as anyway I incorporate Magick into my life, it makes it better. My live is vastly improved now, compared to when I was a practicing religious person.

DANGERS OF MAGICK

Well, I’m not going to say it isn’t. With Magick, you are seeking to bend the laws of reality to your whim. And when you use any Magick, you are seeking to specifically bend reality in a specific way. While trying to alter nature to fit your needs, you may have noticed that nature alters you back. That is normal and I think everyone should expect it. Please, keep in mind that the every action has a reaction.
