In a recurring dream, a long, sleek snake enters me from below in the morning, then comes out through my mouth at night. All day I feel him writhing inside me, sometimes tickling my stomach, sometimes flicking tiny parts of my brain with his tongue. coiling inside my throat, he threatens to pop out in front of my friends and loved ones — but then promises to leave his seed deep within me.
