Virgin Milk

While conducting some research, I discovered that there are many strange items often referred to as religious relics. One of the hottest in the market are vails of breast milk from the Virgin Mary.

The “Milk of Mary” was something of which Catholic legend was able to use as a tool to heard their flock into submission and oppression. Outside the town of Bethlehem, locals discovered a rock with white coloring. Immediately a legend was born, as they claimed that the rock must be white due to Mary feeding Jesus and spilling breast milk on the surface, turning the rock white in color. Knowing that some people prefer to not think, they devised a plan to erect an entire church known as The Church of the Milk Grotto.

If that’s not strange, there is also the Miracle of Lactation. Numerous vials of virgin milk flooded chapels and churches all over the christian world. These vials were sold in the same manner as snake oil, as they could cure everything under the moon.

Even more bizarre is that one of the alleged miracles of Saint Bernard, no not the dog, was that he stood before a statue of the virgin Mary and exclaimed “Show that you are a mother!” at which point the statue came to life and shot milk into the mouth of this saint.

CONCLUSION

Even if there ever was a “Virgin Mary,” and she was a cow for her entire life, she could not had produced so much milk.
