Synopsis: A host cafe visitor relaxes with his new incubus friend

Overworked Incubus

Louis stood nervously outside the front door of the downtown host cafe. He was wearing his typical red shirt and tight jeans. The neon sign displayed the cafe’s name: Arms Goetia. In the sunset light, he couldn’t see through the dark windows, but the shiny mahogany doors beckoned him to enter. He took one last deep breath, pushed the brass handle, and walked inside.

The inside of the cafe was predominantly blue, red, and purple, and it was louder than he thought it would be. The windows filtered out almost all of the outside light. Napping face-down on the reception desk in front of Louis was a twenty-something blonde catboy. Although Louis knew a lot about cats, he didn’t know a lot about catpeople, or if he was taking a nap, or if he was passed out drunk. He gently snored on a small stack of papers.

Louis was afraid to wake him. He looked behind the reception desk into the main area of the cafe and saw the stunning hosts. Beautiful young men and women, some shirtless, some in suits, some wearing exotic lingerie, were all sitting with their male and female guests, talking, laughing, and drinking in the bluish light of the cafe. And among them, Louis saw two extremely cute succubi with pink skin and batlike wings. He was already excited, but his anxiety paralyzed him.

There were portraits on the wall to his left: twenty in total, all with the faces of the hosts. About half of them were sexy demons. They all looked amazing, but one portrait of a young man with purple skin, purple horns, and reddish-pink hair in the lower-left corner caught his eye. Talesin the incubus. Was he available? He was stunningly hot, and there weren’t many incubi in town, so maybe he was used to nervous clients…

Finally, the catboy let out one last loud snore before jolting upright and almost falling over in his chair. “Wha? Huh? I wasn’t sleeping!” he stammered before looking up at Louis. “Oh! Hello! Thought you were the manager. Or Talesin… is this your first time at the Arms Goetia?”

“It is.” Louis nodded.

“Any questions, or do you want to pick a host? We’ve got four lovely gentlemen available right now. All the ladies are taken. Sorry.”

“Um, yeah, how does this all work?”

“Glad you asked! You pick a host that you think is cute, and you purchase time to sit down and talk to them or nap on their shoulder or flirt or whatever it is you want. While you’re sitting together, your host or hostess will call the bartender over to give you free drinks every now and then. The hourly rates are on the side of the desk there. Interested?”

Louis glanced at the side of the desk; the prices looked reasonable. “Sure. I think I’d like an hour with… um… who’s available right now?”

“Well, there’s the bodybuilder Shawn, there’s this quirky incubus named Talesin—”

“–Can I have an hour with Talesin?”

The catboy smiled. “Sure! Let me get up to go find him…”

But before the catboy could get out his seat, a door opened somewhere nearby in the main cafe space, and Talesin walked into view. Louis instantly focused on Talesin’s looks. He was Louis’ height, had smooth purple skin, stunning demon wings, a beautiful, confident face, and a set of blue-purple leather lingerie with gold trim that made him look like royalty. Lastly, he had a long purple tail that ended in a heart shaped tip.

“Hey Chuck,” Talesin said. “Just checking in to make sure you’re not sleeping again.”

While Louis gazed at Talesin, Chuck turned around to talk. “Yeah, I was totally awake! Yep. Hey, this customer right here wanted to have an hour with you.”

Talesin’s eyes widened with joy, and Louis snapped out of his gaze as Talesin turned to him. “Excellent! Is this your first time? Did Chuck explain it all?”

“He did,” Louis said. “So, um, yeah, I saw you and thought you were interesting. I mean, who else has purple skin?”

“That is one of the first things people notice about me,” Talesin said. “But we don’t need to talk here; if you’ve made up your mind already, we can go into the cafe, sit down somewhere cozy, and have some fun conversations together.

“That would be great,” Louis said. He was relieved to finally get out of the awkward reception area of the room.

“This way,” Talesin said. “I have a favorite spot.” He beckoned Louis to come with him, and turned around to walk into the depths of the cafe. Louis followed him, staring at his long, heart-tipped tail and smooth thighs the whole way through. On their way to the back of the cafe, Louis occasionally glanced away from Talesin to look at the other patrons and hosts. They were talking, laughing, and having fun. Louis’ anxiety began to fade, and he slowly became more confident that this would be a good idea.

Talesin took him to a fuzzy white sofa in the back of the cafe. It was to the left of the bar, where a black-haired man wearing a bunny ear headband was preparing drinks. In front of the sofa was a glass coffee table.

“Have a seat,” Talesin said.

Louis obeyed and sat on the sofa. As soon as he touched it, he realized how soft it was. His body sunk into the cushions, which felt like fluffy clouds. He pressed his back into the sofa and closed his eyes.

He felt Talesin sit next to him. “Comfy?” he asked.

“Yeah,” Louis said. He opened his eyes again.

“So, what brings you here?”

“I heard about this place from a friend, and it’s been a while since I’ve gone on any kind of date, and I’ve never been to a cafe like this, so I eventually got over my anxiety and decided to come here.”

“Mmm. Did your friend tell you about our famous chocolate milk?”

“Chocolate milk?”

“They put whipped cream and chocolate syrup on top of it. Want one? Drinks are free.”

Louis’ mouth watered. “I’d love it,” he said.

Talesin leaned to the left and waved at the bartender. “Jerry! Two milks!” When the bartender gave him a thumbs up and started preparing the drinks, Talesin turned back to Louis.

“So, is it really that good?”

“It is. Why else would it be the very first thing I bring up?”

“I’m expecting the world’s greatest chocolate milk,” Louis said. He peeked over at the bar. The bartender had already poured two large glasses of chocolate milk, and was spraying perfect cones of whipped cream on them.

“You won’t be disappointed.”

A moment later, the bartender came to their couch with two beautiful glasses of chocolate milk. They looked like milkshakes, and the chocolate drizzle on top of the whipped cream made them look even nicer. He put them on the glass coffee table.

“Thanks,” Talesin said. The bartender nodded and walked back to the bar counter.

Louis picked up the glass. He brought it to his lips and took a swig. He tasted the chocolate syrup first, then the fluffy whipped cream, and finally, the rich, delicious chocolate milk.

“Like it?” Talesin asked after taking a sip of his own glass.

“Why isn’t all chocolate milk this good?”

“I think the whipped cream really does it.”

“True. So, what brings you here?” Louis asked between gulps. “I mean, did you grow up dreaming of working at a host cafe, or…”

“It wasn’t something I dreamed of, but you know, I am an incubus, and this is just the sort of thing I’m good at. I mean, look at me.” Talesin gestured to himself. “I look pretty good. You usually need to look good to work as a host in one of these places. It just makes sense.”

If Talesin weren’t so damn hot, Louis would have thought that Talesin was being a bit too prideful of his looks. But if anything, just saying he looked good was an understatement.

“Speaking of the cafe, what’s up with that receptionist? I saw him sleeping when I came in.”

Talesin sighed. “Yeah. He does that sometimes. I don’t want him to get reprimanded, so I have to be the responsible one and wake him up every now and then. But it’s easier than it seems. He gets tired around sunset every day, and I always keep an eye on the clock, so I can usually give him a good wakeup petting before anyone notices. Cats really like being petted, and catboys are no different. It’s the best way to wake them up.”

Louis was starting to get interested. Was Talesin also a cat owner?

“I have this really big cat named Pringle,” Louis said. “He’s this huge British Shorthair who loves falling asleep on me when I’m on the couch or in bed, and I don’t ever want to kick him off me, so I just give him a little ear rub and he wakes up and gets the message.”

“No kidding! I have a cat too. Bastet is this brown, fuzzy… prankster I guess? I don’t know what kind of cat he is. I’m not big on breeds. He’s super energetic and gets into a lot of trouble, but you just can’t stay mad at him.”

“Does Bastet run around at 3 AM? I have a hairless Sphynx cat named Gollum who sleeps at just about every hour of the day, and then breaks the land speed record every night.”

“He does!” Talesin laughed. “We should take them to the park and race them.”

“I think I’ll have to pass because I’m never up at 3 AM.”

“Me neither. I’m usually passed out and exhausted on my bed by then.”

“Exhausted? Every night?”

“I love this job to bits, but wow, it gets tiring. Talking and drinking for eight hours a day, almost nonstop. I arrive here at four and leave at midnight. And, I sometimes have to take care of my coworkers and make sure they don’t slack off. Rough schedule, but hey, at least I have a lot of fun here. I’ve met lots of great people.”

“How do you find time for dinner?”

“I get fast food when I leave on work days. I usually skip the drinks since I drink about a dozen glasses of things per day. You can get overhydrated, you know! Thankfully, some of the water just evaporates through my wings, so I can drink a lot.”

“What’s it like having wings?”

“Wings are tasty, but I’m bad at cooking them. I usually order them from pizza places.” Talesin held back a snicker.

“The other ones.”

“Honestly, they’re not as cumbersome as they might seem.” Talesin leaned forward, giving his wings space. He flapped them, kicking up a light breeze around the couch. “I can’t fly with these, but they’re really flexible. I can stash them under a shirt, or press them against the back of a chair, or all kinds of things. They’re mostly for decoration. I think they make me look sexier.”

“They do.”

“Hey, you don’t look that bad yourself.” Talesin smiled. “Honestly, it’s your hips that really do it.”

“Really?” Louis glanced down at his jeans. “That’s the best part of me?”

“The rest of you looks great, but I mean, those hips, and maybe those thighs… wow , I just love them.”

“Huh. I… um, thanks.” Louis blushed. “Uh, back to the cooking discussion. Do you ever have time to cook something nice for yourself? The fast food around here can be pretty awful.”

“I have weekends off, and I try to make home cooked meals then. I’m not great with meats or pastries, but I can make just about anything else.”

“Pastries? You won’t believe it, but I have this amazing lemon bar recipe. It’s the best.”

“The best? Whenever I try to make it, the crust and everything just ends up all wrong. It tastes terrible and crumbles strangely. Any tips?”

“Honestly, you just have to follow the instructions and it should turn out fine. What recipe do you use?”

“Just a regular recipe I found online.”

“Hmm.” Louis leaned in and gave Talesin a seductive smile. “I might need to come over sometime and show you how to cook.” Immediately, Louis regretted it. Did he step over the line? Was this too flirty? He blushed again. “Sorry, I shouldn’t have said that.”

“It could be fun,” Talesin said. “I am tempted by sweets…” When Talesin smiled, Louis instantly felt his confidence skyrocket.

Louis and Talesin finally finished their chocolate milks.

“Good stuff, isn’t it?” Talesin asked.

“You were right about the chocolate milk! It’s great.” Still riding his wave of confidence, Louis decided to bring up the subject again. “I wonder how it would go with lemon bars?”

“Hmm. You know, I don’t normally go out with clients, but sometimes I do. Maybe it would be nice to learn how to cook. Maybe if you wanted to come over tonight, I could muster the energy to stay awake for just a little while longer tonight and try those delicious, delicious lemon bars.”

“I don’t know if you can tell, but I really fucking love lemon bars. I’ll find any excuse I can to make them.”

“So, my place a half hour after midnight tonight?”

“Sure, why not? I’d like to meet Bastet. And maybe in addition to the cooking, we can do other things.” Louis was excited. Was this really happening? If it was, he was looking forward to it.

“Maybe he’ll be up early and you can watch his chaos. And honestly, I’d be quite interested in the other things too.”

The two of them laughed and went back to talking.

~~~~~ ~~~~~
After the hour was up and Louis had a ginger ale and a root beer float, both as good as the chocolate milk, he shared contact information with Talesin, got his address, paid the catboy receptionist, and left. After a short walk, he finally made it to his small apartment. While he was eagerly packing a bag of lemon bar ingredients in his white tiled kitchen, his cat Pringle walked up to him and started rubbing against his ankles. He put the now-full bag of ingredients on the counter and crouched down to pick Pringle up in his arms.
“I’ll just be gone for the night,” Louis said, rubbing Pringle’s ears.
Talesin’s apartment was only ten blocks away, so at a quarter past midnight, he finished chugging his coffee, waved goodbye to Pringle and Gollum, and left to walk down the street with his bag of ingredients.
~~~~~ ~~~~~

He arrived outside of Talesin’s six story L-shaped brick apartment building. Moss and vines covered the adjacent apartment, but this one had been cleanly power washed. He hovered near the tarnished bronze door, not sure if he should come inside or text Talesin to tell him that he was there. But right on cue, Talesin himself came into view after rounding the nearest street corner. He was on the sidewalk, no longer in his signature lingerie, but rather a stunning leather jacket and jeans. His tail and wings jutted out of specially fit holes in the fabric.

“Hey,” Talesin said when he finally reached Louis. His voice was tinged with a faint hint of exhaustion.

“Wow, you really do look good in anything,” Louis said with a smile.

“Yeah, I don’t wear the host club lingerie out in public. I have a lot of outfits. A lot. This one’s supposed to give off a real bad boy sort of vibe. And hey, what’s in that bag there?”

“Lemon bar ingredients. I brought extra just in case.”

“I thought I was supposed to be the prepared, responsible one. Anyway, come on in, it’s way warmer inside!” Talesin opened the unlocked copper door and held it open for Louis. The two of them entered the apartment complex.

There was a long carpeted hallway in front of them, and stairs to the left. The two of them ignored the hallway and climbed the stairs. They finally made it to the third floor, and Talesin was panting.

“Tired?” Louis asked.

“Yeah. It was a long day. Just before closing there was this one guy who would just not stop asking me about every single facet of my life… eventually I just gave up and started saying whatever came to mind, even if it wasn’t true. And Chuck fell asleep, so I had to wake him up, and the janitor left early, so in between my last two clients I had to help sweep the place…”

They finally made it to Talesin’s apartment suite. He unlocked the top and bottom locks, then opened the door to let Louis in.

As soon as the door opened, a loud meow came from inside the dim apartment, and a brown cat with faint beige stripes darted to the door.

“Bastet!” Talesin said, and his exhaustion faded. Bastet rubbed against Talesin’s ankles, then looked up at Louis with curious green eyes.

“I think he’s an American Bobtail,” Louis said. “But, I’m not sure.”

“Really?” Talesin picked up Bastet. “Let’s go inside. He doesn’t like being held for too long.”

They went inside the dim apartment. Talesin turned on the lights, and Louis looked around while Talesin closed the door. It was a modern-themed apartment with wood floors, IKEA furniture, and pea green walls. They were in the living room, and a small hallway connected it to a dining room inside of a kitchen. The hallway had two other doors, one of which was probably the bedroom, and the other probably the bathroom.

“Like it?” Talesin said. “Make yourself at home.”

“Nice place. It’s already after midnight, so we need to start these lemon bars quickly if we’re going to eat them tonight. How about we talk in the kitchen while we set everything up?”

The kitchen had the same pea green walls, but all of the countertops, cabinets, and appliances were either white or gray. By a curtained window in the rear of the room was the brown four person dining table.

Talesin opened the fridge and started taking things out while Louis plopped his bag of ingredients on the countertop. He poured everything out. Eggs, butter, sugar, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, flour, salt, lemons, and a lemon juicer.

“I brought my own fresh lemons,” Louis said. “And a juicer.”

“I just use bottled stuff. Do fresh lemons really make it better?”

“They do.”

“Where’s the baking soda?”

“The what? You’re not supposed to use that.”

“Oh. I swear, the recipe I found online called for it…”

“I think that was your problem.”

Over the next fifteen minutes, Louis and Talesin combined their ingredients to make lemon bars together. While mixing the batter, they made small talk about their cats. Bastet hopped on the dining table, rolled on his back, and stretched out in the middle of the table, watching the two of them cook together.

Finally, they poured all the batter and filling into a pan, and put it in the now preheated oven.

“It should take twenty minutes,” Louis said. “How do you think we should kill the time?”

“Hmm… there are lots of things we can do. He gave Louis a seductive smile. “Maybe we can talk about things, maybe flirt, who knows? Ooh! I can show you my collection of clothes!” Talesin’s face brimmed with excitement. “Come here,” he said as he quickly darted into the hallway.

Louis followed the jumpy Talesin to his bedroom. The very first thing he saw was Talesin’s fresh, fluffy bed, followed by his desk and expensive PC, and lastly, the giant, open closet in the corner of his room by the window. Inside were dozens of outfits and even more individual articles of clothing, and all of them were neatly organized. Louis imagined himself and Talesin on the bed for a moment.

“Like it?” Talesin asked as the two of them walked in together.

“Wow, that bed…”

“Looks soft, doesn’t it?”

“Can I lay down on it?”

“Go ahead.” Talesin closed the door.

Louis plopped on the bed. It let out a creak and a floomp sound, and Louis almost melted into the puffy white blanket.

“Ahhh… yeah. This is good.”

Talesin hopped on the springy bed and it creaked again. “Nice, isn’t it?”

“Can we just… I don’t know…”

Talesin smiled. “That was fast.”

“I didn’t… Nah, screw it, I wanna get pounded. We’re in bed, we really like each other, and the lemon bars have a lot of time left to cook. Up for some quick antics?”

“Pounded, huh?” His tail waved in the air behind him. “I have an even better idea.”

“I’m all yours. Do whatever you want.” Arousal began to creep into Louis.

Talesin crawled closer to Louis. He curled his tail so that the heart-shaped tip pointed towards Louis. “Ever caught some tail action before?”

“No, but I’d like to.”

“Ready?”

“Absolutely.”

Talesin reached down and unbuttoned Louis’ jeans. He unzipped them, then pulled them down his thighs along with his underwear. As Louis watched Talesin do his thing, he was filled with a sudden realization, accompanied by a wave of lust. Was he really about to do this? He shuddered with anticipation.

His lengthening cock was finally exposed to the air, and Talesin brought his body closer to it. He sat to the left of Louis and faced away from him, putting his tail right on top of Louis’ bare thighs. Talesin’s tail shifted closer to Louis’ cock and began to curl around it in a circle. Louis just leaned back and relaxed in the cloud-like bed.

When Louis felt the smooth, leathery tail brush against his cock and wrap around the base, another wave of arousal went through him. His now-erect cock twitched. Talesin coiled his tail around it in a tight binding, covering it base to tip. The slithering motion felt strange against Louis’ skin. Finally, his erection was entirely wrapped.

“And this is the fun part,” Talesin said.

The leathery coil tightened, and Louis let out a grunt as it started moving up and down his cock, stroking him and filling him with wave after wave of pleasure. Talesin knew what he was doing, and he kept up a fast, steady rhythm. Louis’ pulse quickened. His body tensed up and pressed against the soft blankets.

As Talesin stroked him, Louis gradually climbed closer and closer to orgasm. The tail, the sight of the smiling Talesin sitting next to him, and the emotional bond all helped him on his way there.

“Just relax,” Talesin said.

It was only a minute before Louis was almost to orgasm. Talesin was that good. His tail was so smooth, so tight, so steady in its grip. Talesin seemed to sense his rapidly climbing arousal and stroked him harder. Louis pushed his head against the blankets. He was happy and content to stay here. Even though his body normally got more tense when he was excited, he was feeling more limp and relaxed. He didn’t know if this was the bed at work, Talesin’s technique, or the faint scent of baking lemon bars wafting in from under the closed door.

Finally, Louis reached the tipping point and hurtled toward orgasm. He felt the fiery waves of bliss build up inside of his cock, come to a peak, and release in a sequence of hot white jets. Talesin closed his eyes as Louis, addled with blissful pleasure, came all over his tail, his thighs, and the patch of bed near his legs.

When the orgasm died down, Louis was happy, relaxed, and a little sleepy. The bed and Talesin’s warm touch were all that were left.

“Like it?” Talesin said as he uncoiled his now wet tail.

“I… mmmm. Can we just lay here for a minute?” Louis asked.

“As long as we leave ourselves time to clean up before we have to take the lemon bars out of the oven. Don’t worry. I’ll keep track of the time. Mmm, lemon bars…”

The two of them leaned back against the bed and relaxed.

THE END
